Charlie Bear
My designs are inspired by the ever fascinating relationship of the laws of nature and the forms found in science and mathematics. My work tends to focus on art forms in nature, geometry, and the repetition of patterns, emphasizing balance and harmony.
The majority of my work tends to be in BLACK, utilizing a variation of line weights and often incorporating hatching or stippling, focusing on the balance of negative and positive. When working in color my pieces tends to involve bold outlines and heavy black with deep saturation of colors, leaving little or no uncolored skin within the composition.
